As the “Peoples Sheriff ”, you can count on me to provide the people of Lake County Indiana with a safe and supportive community environment, by delivering honest , competent, professional and proactive law enforcement services.

As the “Peoples Sheriff ”, you can count on me to protect our community, our schools, our children, our rights and our taxpayer dollars.

It will be my honor and duty to provide all citizens of Lake County, with the the highest degree of care and respect, while delivering the services needed to protect and preserve the safety and security of our communities.

The Office Of Lake County Sheriff has garnered local and national attention, for what has been described by many, as a culture of criminal behavior that still continues today. I recognize the ethical responsibility of my position within the community and pledge to hold myself to the highest standard of ethical conduct, in an effort to combat corruption, regain the trust of the people and restore honor and dignity to the Office Of Lake County Sheriff.

Careful management of financial resources demonstrates respect for the citizens of Lake County. It is imperative that I pivot from years of reactive spending to proactive planning and prudence. The people of Lake County deserve, and should demand responsibility and accountability from their Sheriff’s Office. To be successful I must move forward with a fiscally responsible comprehensive strategic business plan that eliminates unreasonable expenditures and waste, and utilizes the resources available to create my vision for the future.

I understand that the cooperation of all law enforcement agencies, citizens, organizations and other governmental agencies is essential for effective, efficient and responsive law enforcement, and is sometimes necessary, in order to provide stronger crime control, traffic safety and emergency response efforts. I will seek to foster partnerships in an effort to better serve and protect all Lake County communities.
